This beautiful walking path through the woods is only about 5 minutes from our apartment! We take it often, and this evening the sun was low in the West and at just the right angle to stream through the trees. It was amazing! The beauty of God's creations always touches my soul! We also saw a little bunny hop right across the path in front of us, but I wasn't fast enough to get a picture. :)
We reached the lake just as the sun was setting, and caught these beautiful pictures. The air was still, (unusual for Nauvoo) and the water looked like glass!
