Sister's night out!

Saturday evening during Priesthood meeting, Sister Peterson invited all the Sisters to the Zion's Mercantile for a dinner and evening of sharing. It was so nice. Joanne Miller, who is Sister Killian's daughter also entertained us with a beautiful medley of songs. She has such a great voice. I was too far away to get a good picture of her, but I have one of her Cd's of Christmas songs. She was in the core cast of Pageant for a couple of years as Elijah Fordham's wife.

Sisters Garvin, Barker, Tovey, and Hatch
Sisters Orr, Church, Baugh, and Lowe
Sisters White, Haynes, Mikawa, and Taylor

Sisters Darton, Johnson, Smart, Lindsey, and Jaussi (telling us to be quite because it was time for the prayer)

After the dinner, we all went over to the Art Gallery next door where they were having an open house in connection with conference and having a drawing for prizes.  .

I won this small painting by Eric Dowdle of "Parley's Street", that I love!

Sister Kline, on the left with the flute and Sister Fletcher on the right on the keyboard, with another Sister (on the violin) from the Nauvoo Ward were there at the open house to play during the evening.  It was beautiful. Sister Fletcher plays the Grand Piano in the Assembly Hall of the Temple once a week to keep it tuned!  She is a marvelous musician!! It was a delightful evening, and so nice of Sister Peterson to host it all. Posted by Picasa
