Easter 2009

We celebrated Easter yesterday with all of our family here (except for Brian and Sarah and girls) :( Someday they will be here too!
It was a beautiful day, after several days of stormy weather, and we were able to have our Easter egg hunt outside, thank goodness.

Even though we have a lot of fun traditions for Easter, we especially wanted our grandchildren to know of our testimony of the resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ, which is the true meaning of Easter, and of our love for Him. Rick spent a few minutes telling of this glorious event, and I appreciated his doing so. It was beautiful.

Tessa and Tara came earlier in the week and dyed ALL THE EGGS, and made ALL THE JELLO EGGS TOO! Thank you so much girls!! What a help that is.

Emily did the treasure hunt again this year for all the grandkids, and Brad played Easter bunny and hid ALL the eggs! Thanks to both of you too! I couldn't do it without you.

Checking out the baskets.

Caleb likes what was in his basket!

Hannah does too!

What did you find, Mesia?

Anna likes her bunny.Cannon is happy with his toy!Where did you find ALL of those baskets, Ellie?Alexa and Eli like what they found in their baskets.

The older grandchildren couldn't find some of their clues....good hiding, Emily!
Now who was it that set off that car alarm!!!....looking for the last egg!We also celebrated Eliza's birthday which will be NEXT Sunday. She will be 11!! Isn't she beautiful!

All in all, IT WAS A WONDERFUL EASTER!
