At the Visitors Center there is this amazing nativity set made by one of the Site missionaries, Sister Mecham. All of these figures are made from gourds!! Then she added molding clay to make legs and feet etc. and then painted them! I've shown you some close ups to see the detail, but I wish you could see them in person. it is unbelievable!!
